Hi! I’m Pancake! I’m TsuKata’s kitteh. TsuKata and Toonces (aka DH) adopted me when I was three from Tails of Hope. Tails of Hope is an in-home shelter which takes care of many pets but specializes in giving good homes to pets of people who are terminally or chronically ill. They were wonderful to me before I found my permanent home. I was actually abandoned by my previous family; I don’t know why. It made me angry. For a long time, I was mean to all the families that tried to love me.

When TK and Toonces adopted me, I was mean to them, too. After all, their house was big and scary, with way too many places for me to watch all at once. TsuKata helped me by giving me less area to protect, and that made me happier. She and Toonces also talked to me every day and fed me delicious Fancy Feast Elegant Medleys, with garden greens. (To this day, I love those garden greens!) Eventually, I learned that they were willing to spoil me rotten, and that they wanted to give me a Forever Home and would never leave me. So, I became their kitteh companion. I sleep between them every night until it’s time for me to do rounds. I also protect their house from the evil red dot. My favorite game is to chase catnip mousies down the stairs, then coax TsuKata to throw them back up the stairs for me. I also love sitting on the banister and looking down at everyone.
