So, I’m going to be moving to a new cube at work. The new cube is physically a little smaller than my current cube, and believe it or not, I volunteered to move into it. Reason being, I want to be a little closer to one of the guys I work with, in that it will help both of us stay in sync, and I’m also hoping it’ll help me with my work ennui. The new cube does have a wall that can support a whiteboard which will be nice (my current cube does not).
At any rate, I have 2 cabinets in my cube that are basically full of binders that I rarely (once a year or less) reference. I hesitate to get rid of them. They’re like textbooks. You theoretically know everything that’s in them, but if there’s a piece of minutiae that escapes you, you know you can find it in there. The thing is, I don’t think I need them in my cube. I just need them. I’m considering taking them home, but then, it just becomes home clutter, which seems kind of crappy, considering it’s work stuff.
I’m not sure what to do with it. I’ll probably just move it into the new cube. There is a cabinet there that can hold it. Hmm.
