I have to be at 233 N. Michigan by 7am tomorrow.
Ouch. There’s simply no terrific way. I can drive, but, as a co-worker just pointed out, the painful part of that will not be the drive in; it will be the drive home. Even with that, I’m waking up at 5am to leave the house by 5:40am. Driving also introduces the uncertainty of traffic.
I could take the train, which by best estimates means I need to wake up at 3:45am to be out of the house by 4:30am to catch the 5am MD-N train (arrives downtown at 6:20am), or I could plan to be late, wake up at 4:15am to catch the 5:30 train (arrives 6:50am). It’s at least 20 minutes to get from the train station to the building by walking. Taking a cab may not be much better.
The good news is that there’s been a minor revolt at this development around here. I won’t be alone in my bleariness.
Oh yeah, and did I forget to mention? I have to do the exact same thing on Friday. 😛
