Too Many Questions

I lamented to Scott last night that too much of the TV we watch these days is questions. Not enough of it is just mindless non-frustrating drivel. Lost, Heroes, and The Nine are all in this “Let’s tease you with information that we trickle out in teaspoon size doses.” genre. The reality shows have their own open-ended drama, being ongoing competitions. Even The Office has picked up the trickle mystery formation to some extent. MNIEarl and HIMYMother are the only two that don’t have that going, I think. This may explain why I’m now tivo-ing Judging Amy. I need mindless drivel for tasks like putting away laundry as well as zoning out after work.
