I just picked up Pancake, carried him around the room, and then sat with him in my arms for a bit, with petting and ear-scratching and many “good kitty” whispers. I picked up his front half to bring him into my lap first, and then scooped him up…he practically crawled into my arms once I created the spot. He nuzzled my ear and purred.
