So, I want to make a rule in Outlook to automatically delete from Sent Items any message that has an attachment. I have another Outlook rule to copy from Sent Items to a “local” (non-exchange) folder items with attachments.
The reason for this is that I am often sending out 5+ MB files to people, and my Exchange server space gets overloaded pretty fast (about once every two weeks). When the server space I’m allocated is filled, the server blocks me from sending or receiving mail…which is annoying to say the least.
Thunderbird can do this, I know…is an easy rule to set up there…does anyone know how to do it in Outlook? I’d also be willing to accept setting up the save of Sent Items somehow to not save ones with attachments so long as I could still get it to save a copy to the offline folder. Ideas?
